Becoming a member of your local ArtsNational Society connects you with a vibrant community of art lovers, historians, cultural enthusiasts and lifelong learners, and gives you access to a wide range of unique programs, events and resources tailored to deepen your enjoyment and understanding of the arts. When you join an ArtsNational Society, you will join a community of friendly, like-minded arts loving individuals

ArtsNational Societies are volunteer run for the benefit of their local community members who enjoy a series of curated presentations delivered by local and international experts. Members and guests experience special interest days and special events, participate in young arts support programs, local and national conservation programs, and share with other like-minded individuals in a casual and friendly local environment.

Regular illustrated presentations given by renowned Australian and international presenters on art, history, heritage, and culture, designed to inspire and educate.

Most Societies offer refreshments after each presentation to support informal get-togethers and receptions that give members a chance to chat, reflect and celebrate cultural topics with friends and lecturers in relaxed surroundings.

Post lecture refreshments offer members the chance to meet with the lecturer in a relaxed and friendly environment.

9. Volunteer and Leadership Opportunities
Chances to help curate or contribute to your local Society programs including organizing events, join a wide variety of interesting and engaging committee roles, become a friend of the committee and more. A great (and fun) way to give back, build skills and share with others.

Guests are welcome to attend lectures and events, but it’s always best to sign up or register in advance to reserve your seat.
