BIOGRAPHY
Leigh Capel has worked in the auction industry as a valuer and specialist since 2013 and is an accredited valuer of the Auctioneers & Valuers Association of Australia (CVAu). Leigh was also the Director of Belle Epoque Fine Art, a premier secondary market gallery, with clients including Art Gallery Of NSW, Ballarat Regional Gallery & Newcastle Art Gallery. Leigh has exhibited at numerous art fairs locally since 2019, and became the youngest exhibitor at the AAADA Sydney Fair in 2025. Leigh’s projects have featured in Vogue Australia, Artnet News, Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, News.com.au & The Daily Telegraph, and his expertise as a dealer & valuer has been featured on the ABC, Ten, Nine & Seven News. His experience in the auction industry and as an art dealer provides a rounded perspective of art history and the market.
